Pickety Place

Do you enjoy going out to eat? want to try a unique experience? I have the place for you. Wednesday I traveled to Mason, NH with a friend of mine for a delicious lunch at a place called "Pickety Place"

There is an adorable red cottage that has 3 seatings for lunch, 11:30, 12:45, and 2:00. We went for 11:30.
The food was amazing! everyone lined up outside waiting for out time to be allowed in. The dinner bell rang at 11:30 and the door opened for all to enter. You give your name and they direct you to the room you are in and which table you have. There are only 3 small rooms so not many people can dine and you MUST have a reservation. Be aware that they are booked 3 weeks out so make sure you call early. When we got to our table there were crackers and dip waiting for us and the soup came within 2-3 minutes of us sitting down.
I was a little skeptical of chilled cantaloupe soup, but it was so good. Next came the salad which on this day was potato salad on a bed of lettuce. So much flavor in this potato salad. After that we got bread and a citrus butter that I wanted to bring home with me, so good. Then came the entree which I had a hard time finishing because I was so full, but I made sure I had room for dessert. Here is a picture of the menu and each course.
Each month there is a new menu. I highly recommend you try this place at least once. You will want to return, I certainly do.
After eating we walked around the gift shop and the beautiful gardens at Pickety Place.

I suggest you go to their website and look at the menu for each month.
