Chester, New Hampshire

 Every year I travel to the town of Chester, New Hampshire to find all the scare crows that are placed around town.

This is done each October as a fundraiser. People pay to get the frame of a scarecrow and then they get creative.

When I begin this adventure I always start at the store Bittersweet Blessings. This store has so many seasonal decorations for sale and they give out maps to find all the scarecrows. This was the display in front of the store.

These scarecrows are out on display for the month so if you haven't gone to view them, there is still time or maybe you will get there next year. Here are a few more of the creative displays.

I love going there every year (this was my third trip). IN the center of town I park at the post office and get out to walk around and pose for pictures with some of the displays as there are several in the center of town. Then I get in my car and drive around looking at all the other scarecrows at individual homes. Some people are so creative!
