Kittery Maine

This past week I took a trip to Kittery Maine to shop at the outlet stores. I had never been there so I wanted to check it out. After a less than 2 hour ride I started my day at the Kittery Trading Post. My favorite store of the day. This place was HUGE and sold so many different things. There was clothing, sporting equipment, food and spices, gift ideas and so much more. I will definitely go back just for this store.

If you are planning to go there for the day I would suggest stopping at the customer service center first to pick up a brochure with the map and names of all the stores. This also shows you where all the restrooms are.

My complaint for the day was that several stores were vacant. I was looking forward to shopping at "Maine Collection" but that was one of the vacant stores. If you are looking for any Boston sports memorabilia I would suggest going to Boston sports cave. I enjoyed that store.

Once I had enough shopping I went to Nubble light house which was only 15 minutes away in York Maine. The weather was hot and sunny at the outlets but it was chilly and foggy at the water.

I should also mention that there are plenty of restaurants among the outlets. there are some fast food (McDonalds, Burger King, and Dunkin Donuts) but there were a variety of other restaurants.
